Akannaka is a marketplace that lets guests book a holiday home and, where offered, the owner's car under the same keyring. By browsing, booking, or listing, you agree to these terms. You must be of legal age to enter a booking.

We charge a platform fee once per booking. The applicable rate and full amount are shown before you confirm and pay. Optional tips go toward keeping the platform running unless you send them to a host through the tip wallet.

A booking is an agreement between the guest and the host. The host provides the accommodation in the condition described on the listing and, where the listing includes a car, hands over that car together with the keys at the agreed time. Guests must treat both the home and the car with care and follow the host's house rules.

Guests using an owner's car must hold a valid driving licence and any cover the host requires. Local traffic law applies at all times.

Adding the owner's car to a booking is always optional. The car's owner is solely responsible for its insurance, roadworthiness, registration and any cover the driver needs — Akannaka does not provide, verify, or take part in that insurance.

Akannaka is a venue that connects guests and hosts. We are not responsible for fraud, theft, damage, or any illegal act committed by a guest or a host, whether it involves a home or a car. Anything unlawful stays between the people involved and the authorities.

Cancellation terms are shown on each listing before you pay. If a host cancels, we work with the guest to find another stay and refund the booking when no alternative is found.

Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the safety and legality of their home and car, and any permits or insurance required locally. Applications are reviewed before a host can receive bookings. Payouts of the booking amount, minus our platform fee, are sent to the host after the stay.

Akannaka provides the marketplace but does not own, operate, or inspect the homes and cars listed. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for anything arising from a booking is limited to the fee we collected on that booking.

Don't use Akannaka for unlawful purposes, misrepresent yourself or a listing, or attempt to move a booking off-platform to evade the fee. Accounts doing so may be removed.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes are announced on the site, and the terms in force when you made a booking continue to govern that booking.
