Where the money goes
Under ten percent, then a tip jar.
A $600 week costs $42 here. On a big platform that same week usually carries around $100 in combined fees. We keep ours tiny on purpose and ask guests and hosts for a voluntary tip instead.
| Platform | Commission | Booking fee | Extras |

Why we ask for tips
The fee barely covers card processing. Tips — from guests and from hosts — pay for the servers, the support inbox, and the people checking that a listing is real. Tipping is always optional, always after the trip, and never changes what you see or what a host earns.
